Snowman Figurine

· 6:00 PM–8:00 PM

Intro to 3D Printing Learn the basics of 3D model designing, and Prusa Slicer software in order to create a 3D printed snowman figurine! Do you wanna build a snowman? In this beginner-friendly program, you'll learn how to use Prusa Slicer Software, TinkerCAD, and the 3D Printers in the Studio at Hessen Cassel to create a snowman figurine! Learn how to design a 3D model in TinkerCAD with us, and once your design is complete, we'll guided you through the preparation process in the Slice software for 3D printing. After the program, you'll be able to return to the library to pick up your finished 3D print. Familiarity with computers is highly recommended for attendees of this program. Program is limited to 6 participants. This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers. Space is limited: register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help. About the Prusa MK4s: Learn more about the Prusa Mk4S 3D Printer (manuals, specs, and more) at the official website. In the Studio please ask staff for the paper copy of the manual for reference, or a copy of our Overview Operation Instructions.
