Creative Growth for Kids

Identity Puzzle Join us as we use art to express emotions, practice mindfulness, and learn resilience. Intended for upper elementary children, participants in this program will read The Name Jar by Yangsook Choi and explore the different pieces that make each person unique. After reading the book, participants will decorate a puzzle with their name and create symbols, images, and colors that represent their identity. This program is being led by a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate from Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana. Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana (MHANI) is an advocacy and education non-profit organization founded in 1954 whose mission it is to promote the mental and emotional health of the community by offering advocacy, education, support services, and hope. Space is limited; register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs?
