Programming Mini Robots with Blockly
· 10:30 AM–12:00 PM
Winter Games Already know how to line code with the Ozobot Evo? Learn how to use Blockly Editor to program your robots to participate in Winter Games. Come to the Studio at Main to program and play with mini robots! The Ozobot Evo is a mini robot that you can program in one of two ways: 1) by using colored markers, or 2) by utilizing block coding from a computer. In this program you will venture into Blockly Coding to program and control your robot. Participants will use Ozobot Blockly editor to code their robot to participate in specific Winter Games events. Participation in Programming Mini Robots prior to attending this program is highly recommended. Program is limited to 10 participants. This program was designed for 2nd grade and up, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons and their supervising caregivers. Space is limited: Register in advance to reserve your spot and receive reminders. Registration will guarantee your seat until the event begins. Accessibility needs? Please contact ask@acpl.info as soon as possible - we’d love to help.
